Detail at El Behooth Metro station. A feature of this tiling is its undoubted great age. Indeed, in places the tiling, through years of use, has been completely worn away. An open question is to how old the tilings are. 50 years? 100 years? Perhaps they are even older. Would anyone care to speculate as to a possible age?
